Well, this team has the ability to come back and win this game. Not holding my breath though.

Not on the ledge here...but I also realize the fine line between success and failure. Too many folks saw the streak, ignored the closeness of the games, and assumed this team was an easy pic to win it all.

"no one can beat this team in a series", "I can't see any team beating the Hawks"...ect.

It's hockey...funky things happen all the time.

The streak itself has put the huge burden of expectation on the Hawks. The test is how they respond now that the "karma bus" has driven into the ditch.

Good point. Every team in the league has had games like this - I'm just hoping we coast just enough to get ourselves a high seed and stay healthy going into the playoffs.

I agree about the physical play you spoke about earlier but the oilers aren't playing physical tonight (probably because they are one of the least physical teams in the league).

Speaking of physical play... Did you happen to see Wayne Simmonds just clobber Ennis into the boards and when ennis' teammate weber came to fight Simmonds he got clobbered too.

Lets not forget that the Oilers have given the Hawks fits the last few years.
They have better team speed than the Hawks and fore-check like crazy against us.
