I was thinking along the same lines. I think they made a mistake bringing Bollig back up and sliding people up the lineup. They end up with three lines playing with new partners. That easily could explain the multiple missed passes and offsides.

It's looking like they should have brought someone up who could play LW on the second (Hayes? Pirri? Smith?) and left the other lines alone.

Hockey is a funny game...

...it's amazing how quickly things can turn. Great PK turns awful on a dime, great goaltending turns awful on a dime, solid 5 on 5 play turns awful on a dime. The margin between success and failure is razor thin.

Unless the topic is faceoffs, outside of Toews the Hawks got nuttin' .

Anyhow, let's hope this bad stretch is short lived.
