Back offtopic: I like Journey. Escape was one of the first cassettes I received as a kid after saying how much I liked Tron and their earlier hits (namely Wheel in the Sky & Anyway You Want It).
Of course, I don't like them as much as my go-to bands (namely U2, The 77's, Rush, The Lost Dogs, The Prayer Chain, and Yes), but I really dug the use of their music in the Tron sequel.

was B Schenn's sweeping away of the potential tying goal last nite a stay of execution for lavi or a real turning point? |

Speaking to Australia's version of 60 Minutes, the singer deflected the notion that he's the reason for Zeppelin's dormancy. "[Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones] are Capricorns. They don't say a word. They're quite contained in their own worlds and they leave it to me," said Plant. "I'm not the bad guy . . . You need to see the Capricorns – I've got nothing to do in 2014

Of course Ek posts Brian Campbell may be traded and the Flyers have interest.
Maybe if they took Briere in exchange, but that's not going to happen, is it? |

Technically it was a 9 year contract designed for him to retire after 7 years. Much like Pronger's deal the last 2 years were only to lower the cap hit, he wasn't expected to play. His average pay over the first 3 years is approx 8.2 mill. This is year 2 so it would only be 5 more years of Bryzgalov. At the end of this year the Flyers will have paid him nearly 17 million of his 51 mill. By the end of next year all the fat at the beginning of his contract will have been paid and his pay will be more inline with his cap hit. - Flyers_01
If we retire him early we get hammered by cap changes. A comparible is hossa. If he doesnt play til hes 42 they get 9 mil in cap penalties a guy wrote on tsn. |

They would have to do something to add Campbell. They have the Cap space for this Season. But they would have to create substantial tagging space to take on the future years of the deal.

Compliance Buyout.
They get two of them. The only candidates that make any kind of sense are Briere & Bryzgalov. Everyone else has a short enough contract or manageable cap hit. They don't need to hold on to them, and they're gone after the summer of 2014, so it's not as if they can hold onto one for the next decade.
Pronger would be a good candidate, but he's not eligible unless he suddenly gets well enough to be medically cleared to play hockey. |

The BBC sessions or the How The West Was Won set? Both are good. They released an extended soundtrack to the Song Remains The Same in 2007 with Black Dog, The Ocean and a few other tunes...so good. |

I don't think that there will be a turning point this season. I think what we've seen is what we get. So yeah I think it's a stay of execution. And when we do back to back losses to the Devils this week this whole fire Lavi conversation takes center stage . |

the DVD came out around the same time as HTWWW. it had the RAH concert from '70 and other clips from the TSRTS in MSG. then a concert in Denmark (?) and ending in Knebworth. the extras, particularly on the 1st disk, are terrific. the soundtrack is DTS capable and over powering with Bonzo's drums. whole thing cost like $23- unreal value. |
