They get two of them. The only candidates that make any kind of sense are Briere & Bryzgalov. Everyone else has a short enough contract or manageable cap hit. They don't need to hold on to them, and they're gone after the summer of 2014, so it's not as if they can hold onto one for the next decade.

Pronger would be a good candidate, but he's not eligible unless he suddenly gets well enough to be medically cleared to play hockey.

the DVD came out around the same time as HTWWW. it had the RAH concert from '70 and other clips from the TSRTS in MSG. then a concert in Denmark (?) and ending in Knebworth. the extras, particularly on the 1st disk, are terrific. the soundtrack is DTS capable and over powering with Bonzo's drums. whole thing cost like $23- unreal value.

I don't think that there will be a turning point this season. I think what we've seen is what we get. So yeah I think it's a stay of execution. And when we do back to back losses to the Devils this week this whole fire Lavi conversation takes center stage .

campbell would be a shot in the arm for this team, but the dollars don't work and the assets required to get him could prob be put to better use.

i'd do briere for campbell but no more but i'd rather trade briere for younger players since we're not making the playoffs and we could use the youth

With Giroux, B Schenn, Couts, Read and Meszy all due new contracts in 2014 I think they would be crazy to take on Campbell's 7+ for 3 more years.
