Agreed. I'm not expecting much back.
I think the only player who could possibly be bought out (and I'm thinking next year) is Bryzgalof. I can see management getting pissed and just washing their hands. If I thought they were attached to him I'd say no to that also. I bet Nabakov wishes he had been more receptive two Junes ago.
I fall into the group that believes that he is a pretty good goalie, but you are seeing some real fatigue from too many games in too short a period. Add in the stress of the controversy and you have a really uncomfortable working situation. It sure isn't Phoenix.
I still think the best short term option is a very good back up goalie who can take 25% of the workload. - spatso
