The Sixers acquired him. That didn't get him on the court.

just odd that a team would offer to sign a player whose career is over

If you've never seen it I would say its not one you'd like, it's very crass. Otherwise... By all means
- JoeRussomanno

I dunno. I watched Tropic Thunder and found a lot of it hilarious. Not one I watch often, but...

- Crimsoninja

if the flyers obtained weber and he was hurt all year and said some bizarre things in the media during his rehab time would you want the team to keep him going into the next year?

Who said his career was over. I asked a question of is his career pretty much over. You said he was injured. What are the specific injuries to his knees? Do you know?

Bone bruises take this long to heal? He doesn't have any cartilage issues, or any damage to the structure of his knees? Just bruises?

Can we go back to the conversation around laser nipples and unicorn tears? I know more about both those things than the NBA.

Exactly my point. I've read that he has Cartilage issues in both knees. That is degenerative. A guy his size and at his age. That's not good. I hope he can play. If he can get healthy, he can instantly transform the Sixers

Just looking at the remaining schedule and realizing we pretty much got all of our games with the Southeast out of the way already. Yup, we're just about cooked.

They literally can lose like 5 games the rest of the Season, to have a chance to make the playoffs.

Good thing we only have 5 games left against the Devils and Rags then. Move that 2nd rounder Hemogloblin!
