I agree. I think he's awesome. He speaks his mind. I watched a recent press conference where a reporter asked him what he said to his players during a timeout. He told the Reporter, no offense, but it's none of your business what I say to my players. I love it! - MJL
Most beat reporters ask horrible questions. They deserve to be barked at. |

There's a statute of limitations on offenses. If you haven't been suspended in X months you're not considered a repeat offender. - Scoob
That's weak. |

I'm pretty sure it's "statue of limitations". |

Actually Perry is not a repeat offender. - MJL
Yeah. Sure he isn't.
Whether or not that drunk Irish moron in charge of discipline takes this into account is another issue entirely.

He's not supposed to. That happened more than 18 months ago, which means he's not technically a repeat offender. |

So, every 18 months you can plow someone with no regard or respect for safety.
That's just tremendous.

The whole process is flawed. Right from deciding what is a suspension, to how long, to this. |

you mean like when Downie got 20 games for something other guys get 2-3 games for when he was not a repeat offender in the NHL? |

Somewhere, in a darkened room, an unshaven and unkempt Danny Carcillo is marking days off the calendar for when he can strike again. |

Yes, but there are lots more examples than that. Cooke got 10 games and the first round of the playoffs a couple years ago for a hit I've seen multiple times since. The name on the Jersey plays a big part regardless of what they tell us.
That hit I'm referring to wasn't as bad as the one Perry laid last night, and he can't get more than 5 based on the phone hearing. |

Anthony SanFilippo @AnthonySan37 Just been told that Gustafsson's inconsistent play was the reason for sending him down and nothing is pending trade wise for the #Flyers
Are you kidding me? If Gus' play was bad enough to warrant him be sent back to ADK, then Gervias should be taken out and shot. - BringBack25
When Meszaros went down, the margin between Timonen and Bus are worlds apart. I hated watching Gus play. I hate watching Bruno, Foster and Gus play. In the dying moments of the pens game, o believe Gus was sent out to help tie the game. I really hated seeing that. I hated seeing him on the pp. I understand why he was there, I just hated it... |

No one expects him to be Timonen. I'd love to see him develop into a solid 3rd pair guy. he has shown flashes of playing very well and flashes of not playing well. |

How many is X? Does it vary by player, or is it a set amount of time? |

AT BEST.. I see him as a mobile puck moving 5th d-man who can potentially get some time on a second PP unit. |
