Vegas looks almost exclusivity at numbers for setting betting lines- they do pretty well.

Hmm yet he uses the Leafs logo for his blog picture and refers to the Leafs in the blog title. Tessier you are so transparent, save your bullpoop excuse that you're writing about the Jets. Clearly you're not.

The Leafs losing is about as likely as Tessier writing a blog worth reading. Not going to happen.

I don't know why people would expect the leafs to start doing worse as they start getting players back into their lineup.

Are the leafs arguably a better team on paper than they've been now that Frattin is back? Yes.

Are the leafs arguably a better team when they get Lupul back? Yes.

Advanced Statistics need a lot of work if they are going to be used in the NHL...... A lot of work.


Advanced stats called Alex Steen the most productive player in the NHL.

The Piece on the Leafs fails to see that their stats have actually improved from the first 12 games, to the last 12. Their PP has improved and their PK is vastly improved. Watching this team, I don't believe there will be a failing that advanced stats is projecting.

I'm curious about something too. Do you always blog about the other team on game day? You have to admit, it seems kind of suspicious that the Jets are playing the team with the largest following on Hockeybuzz, and instead of blogging about the Jets you blog about the Leafs. I don't expect to ever get respect from the other members around here, but it would be nice if we didn't get poked and prodded by the bloggers too.
