I think I am the only one of the opinion that Kaleta's hit on Richards was not worthy of a suspension, let alone 5 games.
What I think is Tootarella's major malfunction is calling out the Sabres' "lack of respect" over that hit, then going on to deny the Sabres any credit for a win last night...to me, his words show a greater lack of respect than anything done on the ice.

Yeah, I get it, he was addressing his team, trying to get them fired up, etc...but when you put up,I think, 18 shots in the third period you should show a little class and credit Enroth with being solid.

I like Torts and at times wished we had him instead of Lindy through the years, but he acts like a whiny douche sometimes.

What do you guys think about Tort saying "I wont give the Sabres any credit, They were ripe to be beaten Blah blah blah"?

Im actually fine with the signing. Could be interesting pairing old teammates (Mario+Manny) from NC State. I just dont pay attention to many of the FA on the market. I agree, solid signing. I dont expect any surprises except maybe a QB pick in the 1st round.

He'll be a slight upgrade over guys like Moats IMO. A bigger guy that can cover decently and can rush the passer. Should fit in with new D Coordinators style.
