Different coach, different system. And by CA I assume you mean USC? Because that Aaron Rodgers guy is from CA and a CA college, and hes doing alright. - Rally_Shots
Sorry, you can't compare the talent and heart of Rodgers against those 3 guys. night and day. |

Two thoughts.
The Rangers are a soft team and the Sabres clearly know how to take care of business. If you bang the Rangers they will come off their game all the time. Rangers are essentially now a one line team. Shut down the first line, bang the supporting caste and the Blueshirts will wilt by the third period.
Bigger issue. Last year the Sabres were headed for a lottery pick. They went on an end of season run and just missed the playoffs blowing their chances at a top pick. If the Sabres keep winning consideration needs to be given to firing Ralston. This is no time for screw ups. It is important to stay calm, be patient and try and remember that if you mess up on the small stuff there is a good chance that one day at a time you can lose your fair share of games.

You know the Sabres are doing bad when:
1. All of the people on here are talking only about trades.
2. All of the people on here are talking only about football.
I think it's safe to say the Sabres are pretty bad this year. |

Honestly they got who they might have taken anyway with the 4th or 5th pick overall in Grigorenko. I can't imagine they would have taken a defenseman, but who knows |

we do, we have plenty - Homer
The dude was supposedly asking for double digit numbers yearly...that just hurts with the holes we have. |

Well you can't really fire a coach for winning... and even then I wouldn't fire him. Just send him back to Rochester, he's done what he was called upon to do. |

Which is ironic because as bad as the Sabres are, the Bills are about 15x worse. |

Exact, great idea, send him back to Rochester until next year. Name Garth coach with Rob Ray as his assistant. |

Truth is no one in the media and fan base really know whos being shopped or talked about for trades. When s the last time anyone came up with an accurate rumor about a player Darcy took in a deal or trade before hand ? Anyone see Hogie comming ? How about Ott or Regier when they happend. How about the many people who didnt think Ruff would be fired or the ones who thought just because Darcy was here Lindy would remain too ?IMO everyone is at play this year except maybe Hodgie. This because this organization has been looking for a top center for years and finally found one. |

....and to answer your question .....no truth to Miller being shopped. None. - Homer
I said this yesterday, and was told by a few on here that Kypreos was a credible source. I called BS on Kypper's report immediately. |

If only making trades was as easy as it is in video games. I remember once when playing NHL 10 Chicago offered to trade me Kane for MacArthur. |

I love the video game trades! We see plenty of them on this site!
Remaking your entire organization with 6 different deals within 10 minutes.
And then go 82-0. |

As much as I dislike Garth, he did put it out there about a week before the actual trade |

There is a difference between being "shopped" and listening to other team's offers. |

This Torts act is getting a little old - he might be a good coach with a Cup on his resume but the dude lacks class. He is disrespectful to the media and to this sport. The other thing was his comments on the Sabres - maybe he should focus on his team.
Can someone tell me why those Flyers' hit from behind weren't even looked at?
Sabres Power Play is a joke - day off??? I think practice is what they need. |

Wasn't comparing heart and talent, just the fact they are all from CA, Homer also pointed out Tom Brady is from CA. I just think you have to look at each quarter back on an individual basis. |
