Mr. Breakaway keeps up his consistency. 100% - PLindbergh31
Let's ignore the fact that it was a great shot by one of the top snipers in the world.
Yup, they have given up 3 goals and I dont blame Bryz for any of them.

that shot was ridiculous. let's keep in mind it was the 3rd oddman rush in the period. the first period. |

Lavi was a good bowler, and a good man. He was one of us. He was a man who loved the outdoors... and bowling, and as a surfer he explored the beaches of Southern California, from La Jolla to Leo Carrillo and... up to... Pismo. He died, like so many young men of his generation, he died before his time. In your wisdom, Lord, you took him, as you took so many bright flowering young men at Khe Sanh, at Langdok, at Hill 364. These young men gave their lives. And so would Lavi. Lavi, who loved bowling. And so, Peter Donald Laviolette, in accordance with what we think your dying wishes might well have been, we commit your final mortal remains to the bosom of the Pacific Ocean, which you loved so well. Good night, sweet prince. - hereticpride

I dont care if he preaches aggressive hockey.
Those two pinches by Read and Grossman tonight were stupid plain and simple. Coots and Gervais were horrific on that one goal as well.
Its frustrating because honestly this sorry group of poop spitting on the Flyer logo annoys me more, but its time for the coach to go. |

By my count it should be 6-1.
Why was Read not backing off? Answer? Because he is told not to back off.

Well at least it's a deep draft year
trade/buyout briere
Can't say I'm okay with holding on to bryz either...not sure what's out there to replace him however... - Manitobakid
Hiller or Bishop could probably be had via trade without giving up something crazy.
Backstrom through FA I would be alright with as well for a short term.

Remember, they're approaching all the games like playoff games now.
Unfortunately, they picked games 2-5 against the Devils last year to emulate. Or games 1-4 against Boston the year before |

you can't seriously expect any goalie to stop that shot. pretty hard to fault him on any of these goals, and he's already made a few saves that rightfully should have been goals.
don't let the facts stop you though, go right on supporting the coach that's responsible for this mess, and ripping the goalie.

How many goals has Gervais been at least partly at fault for this season. My god. I would be better out there. - flyer_nutter
You mentioned Gervais twice. Meszaros was the defenseman that turned the puck over behind the net, and then lost his check, Elias who was the goal scorer

Why was Read not backing off? Answer? Because he is told not to back off. - MBFlyerfan
This is where it gets a little wild.
No coach tells his player to do what Read did there. Even if Lava coaches aggressive hockey.
The Flyers as a group, were simply panicking. Trying to tie up the game. |
