Mr. Breakaway keeps up his consistency. 100% - PLindbergh31
No goalie was stopping that one. Perfect shot with a blink-of-the-eye release and lots of steam. |

Whether its bryz fault which it isn't I think he should be bought out... They destroyed the guy this year with piss poor management and play ... Get bishop or bernier let the goalie grow with the team |

You mentioned Gervais twice. Meszaros was the defenseman that turned the puck over behind the net, and then lost his check, Elias who was the goal scorer - MJL
Coots threw away the puck with a blind pass, thats what started everything. Then feebly waves his stick for the rest of the sequence.
Meszaros made a bad decision however Gervais did what exactly do try and keep the puck out of the net?
If you wish to defend Gervais at all this season by all means. He should be wiping my windshield for chum change. |

Just lost out there! Any real coaches available? May be too late to save the season but a head start to next season. |

This is where it gets a little wild.
No coach tells his player to do what Read did there. Even if Lava coaches aggressive hockey.
The Flyers as a group, were simply panicking. Trying to tie up the game. - flyer_nutter
Yet it happens game in and game out for years now. With no consequences. Im just doing the math. |

NBC Sports commenting on how the Flyers are too aggressive.
With the group on the ice, that kind of style will not work. I agree. Time for a change, they look too horrific. |

I'm so done with coburn. - FlyerLifer
Look at Coburn and Hartnell the whole time they have been here. Run extremely hot, and extremely cold. A perfect little image of what this team has been for years, even pre Lava.
After replacing Lava, management has to take a real hard look at the players they throw on the ice. They have to do a better job of locating talent, that is consistent. |

So give up a good asset to get a goalie even though we have a capable one?
No thanks. It's asinine. |

Hiller or Bishop could probably be had via trade without giving up something crazy.
Backstrom through FA I would be alright with as well for a short term. - flyer_nutter
I'm okay to try any of those 3 just no 1000 year contacts please |

Let's get frisky.
Me and the fiance have been talking about this for a while, but for anyone that would have an idea how hard would it be as a nurse (she is a health care aide) to move into the States and establish a life and get work. - flyer_nutter

I've been a fan Lava.
However something has to give. His time is done, or at least it should be.
I'd fire all the players as well if I could however. - flyer_nutter
This. Exactly.
Coots turnover followed by scatterbrained defensive play for the first goal.
Bad bounce for the 2nd goal.
Kovy on a breakaway with a nasty shortie for the 3rd goal.
And the team barely playing 5 v 5.
Sad. |
