Bad defenseman who has done nothing but play for bad teams. Issues are much bigger than him. I like the coach, but something has to give. If he's fired the GM should be out the door with him.

It's stated a lot that the Flyers got Bryz because of Snider's comments in the media about goalies.... but we don't know that Snider and Holmgren didn't both make that decision together. Right or wrong, I don't think Holmgren can just be absolved from getting Bryzgalov, just because Snider said publicly he wanted a goalie. Holmgren may well have wanted the exact same thing

What is Homer to do? He did what he could to get the best UFA and best RFA defenseman. I don't see where he is at fault.

Threw out money for FA but once that failed, do not tell me the best he could have done is bring in Luke Schenn, Foster and Gervais. The Flyers will always have to overpay for talented d-men. They will have to do so now, they will have had to then.

Nutter, we're cool, but JVR for Schenn reversed means JVR is up front and Gervais and Foster are playing with maybe Wade Redden coming in. Not going to be a difference maker when this team is circling the drain nightly.
