Guy didn't have a stellar NHL career by a long shot Big time success in junior doesn't always equal success in the NHL, either scoring or on the defensive side. There are always examples of average players in junior hockey that became bonafide NHL stars too. It works both ways! I wouldn't guesstimate or compare the two until Laughton has played two NHL seasons...

Scoring in juniors doesn't guarantee a player will have success at the next level, but there are not very many players who weren't scorers in juniors that suddenly light it up, scoring-wise, at the next level.

Daigle could have been an exceptional NHLer. Couturier doesn't have Daigle's lazy streak, neither does Laughton.
