Well it started by someone saying he fell to 8th because he can't score. I was pointing to others who couldn't score as well in their sophomore season. They had injuries, Coots has had pretty bad linemates on a pretty terrible team. Last year, everyone was happy that we took him, and this year, he's one of the ones to bash. His production hasn't been there, and Hamilton looks nice right now. If Hamilton regresses and Coots rounds into form next year, it will be the reverse. People just need to be patient with a kid who can't even buy a beer yet playing against the best men in the world.

i live with what i say good or bad. at the time, i didn't like the pronger trade and it was at least a push. i wanted hamilton then and i haven't changed. i wasn't happy with the carter trade and i was wrong.

I hated the Pronger trade, I wanted Hamilton, and I was delighted with the Carter trade.

Since we're confessing, I was happy with the Richards move, hated the Breeze signing, and still don't like the L.Schenn trade.

Whew. I feel much better that I got that off my chest.

yea, i was lukewarm about bryz...more about trading for his rights and losing leverage which led to the lead weight contract. jvr and richards trades, i felt the same way.

Homer is delusional. I've never seen a Flyers team in my life give up so many odd man rushes.

Call me crazy, but I'm still glad we took Couturier. Patience is needed folks.

I was happy with the pronger trade, feel like it hasn't worked out, happy with the carter trade, IMO jake alone is making up for it, and I agree they should have went for Hamilton. Not a knock on couts but the organizational need is glaring.

Ahhh, I'm just still grouchy that the Flyers picked Ron Sutter over Scott Stevens.

Round 1
A. Boston vs. Toronto
A. Montreal vs. Detroit
B. NYR vs. NJD
B. Pitt vs. Philadelphia

Winners of each A would play in the 2nd round as well as the B winners. Then, the A champions would play the B champions in the Conf. Finals.

- jmatchett

I'm pretty sure that's incorrect. Montreal-Detroit and Pitt-Philly are right because the 2-3 seeds in each division will face each other. But with 2 wild cards, the top seed in the East would face the lower of the 2 wild cards (Boston vs NJ) and the other division winner will face the 2nd worst record of the wild cards (NYR vs Toronto). But I could easily be wrong..

As long as you hated the the Pronger trade when the Flyers got 2 games from winning the Cup and not now that his hall of fame career has seemingly ended due to an injury.

personally i would have much rather let Bob grow with the young core then signing Bryz.

I hear that...Thanks to you dudes for ruining my day by reminding me that not only did the pick Ricci before Jagr but also before Brodeur.

feds interviewed mentioned taking too many chances...forcing things that aren't there...sounds like a sage vet even though this stuff is kinda obvious.

I've seen some names thrown around here, but are there any other realistic options the team could look at come summer time, for a head coach?

I'd like to see a fresh face, and want nothing to do with Vigneault or Ruff.

Hey, it coulda been worse.

Calgary selected Trevor Kidd 11th and Vancouver passed on him twice (Nedved and Antoski).

That five day break after the Tampa game would be a great time for a new coach to come in.

The talking heads up here are suggesting Ruff.. I really hope not.
