Miller & Vanek in offseason...

I think they would prob get the best return for Miller in the offseason anyways...
Vanek, I'd like to see them extend... But nothing like the 8year, 8.25m that Getzlaf got (wtf were the ducks thinkin? Wow! WAY too much)...
With that in mind, extending Vanel prob would cost similar years and $$$, so no thanks... But trying to trade him in season is probably going to be difficult bc of his cap hit, so he's prob best moved in the offseason as well...
Pominville has a cap hit that could fit with most teams out there, and I think the way he plays he could fill anywhere from a 1st-3rd line role on any team looking to make a run...
The only guy out there I'd see as more valuable would be Perry, but with Pominville being under contract for an extra year, I think he has the most VALUE...
And we'd likely get a fantastic return

Him being a family man and having a hard time deciding to pick up and move from Calgary to here, leads my to believe he will opt not to waive his NTC.
