I would'nt reccomend that with the spelling police we have on here, funny thing is they don't know how to spell themselves?

Boyes doesn't suck. He's not great, but he doesn't suck. Reasoner sucks. Bailey sucks. KO sucks. Boyes has been far more productive than the three of those stiffs combined. And don't give me the "he plays with JT" nonsense. So did KO to start the year and he was so God-awful they demoted him.

I consider this a 'show me' period for Joensuu so I do think he should get an extended look. He's a big body (which we don't have many of) who can skate okay. He's got big t!ts. In half a season of action Joensuu put up 6 goals. Not great but I think for a rookie season, 12-15 goals in limited ice time isn't too bad. At 25 years of age, he should be maturing into whatever it is he'll eventually become. Based on his performance in the Finish league and the IIHF tourney, we should have a cautious optimism that he may be improved from his last go around. Even if he'd match his 12 goal pace from last year, he'd be on a better goal scoring pace than Okposo or Bailey.

me too...now while I agree he has work to still do on his defensive but no way is he a liability... he defense is average...which is an improvement. what he needs to work on is teachable...

You guys spend too much time watching minor league hockey...most of the guys in the AHL don't make the NHL..the only ones that are presently on the Bridgeport roster that are going to sniff the NHL are Nino (probably on another team), Donovan, Nelson, Persson, Kabanov, Nilsson and Sundstrom.
