This team should be sellers at the deadline...they don't need tweaks - Philly1980
This team isn't going to make the playoffs. I agree that they should be sellers at the deadline and get as much as possible. |

I'm down for some short term pain for long term gain especially in a short season. |

The GM needs to move some players and get back what he can. I'm not saying he should give players away but we all know teams overpay at the deadline. |

I guess that means we are back to Yandle to fill that offensive d gap - Manitobakid

Did someone forget to switch accounts before responding to the first one? - Flyskippy
Just saying he kind of reminds me of Namdi. Never won anything and have nothing to go off of in Bigtime games. Another reason yandle is going to cost an arm and a leg he has had good playoffs |

If the flyers had any thoughts of trading him they wouldn't have extended him. We need him. |

his contract will reduce the cost somewhat and he looks like frankenstein out there right now, so it's a leap of faith. |

I see that part of it, now look at what it may take to land him and how many more holes you open up that you can't fill with cap issues. |

the flyers have shown an innate ability to draft forwards. I'm not worried about sending one or two over for a dman like myers. |

Yeah I know. A name out there, if teams arent willing to sell us draft picks for Briere. Ian White. 28 YOA soon to be UFA. Has just gotten back into the lineup after being healthy scratched. If detroit has interest in Briere that could be a 1 for 1. We'd get a sampling of him before the season is over. RH shot. |

i think it is unavoidable that we are going to have to sacrifice forward depth to address this issue unless we are willing to draft somebody and be patient or we are able to get lucky w/ a guy who another org soured on. |

It won't be just a forward any team is going to be asking for at least the 1st round pick as well.
This is one time they'll just have to take the lumps and deal with it the best they can. |

don't think he'll be available w/ the injury to quincey, but he's a 3rd pairing guy...a pretty decent one, but still a 3rd pair. |
