How'd the Jets do today Peter, oh you oracle of hockey you? Seems like they kinda crapped the bed? They almost blow a 3 goal lead to those crappy Leafs who probably aren't even a playoff team and then this debacle against a depleted Sens team? My goodness, that doesn't look good for such a fantastic team as the Jets.

Here's the truth. I like alot of fellow leaf fans have only been made to hate other teams say like the sens or habs because of the spewed hatred of the leafs coming from other teams fans toward us. based on we have such a large hockey market that yes the press caters to. but i'm just sick of going on sites to talk some leaf talk and find all these non-fans chucking crap at us. Case in point i'm only here cause i saw a leaf jersey and some guy talkin crap about the leafs. Just sick of it.

Been busy. Ankle is pretty much all healed now so im back to work and back to having a life. Though I should probably just say Ive been banned. Makes me seem tougher, like a scar would.

goaltending, that's the bottom line. It'll only get tighter for the leafs from here on out, maybe they trade for Luongo at the deadline, they would guaranteed make the playofs if they did, but Reimer and Scrivens re questions marks

In his defense, Scrivens should have had that wrap around goal. But thats about it. Lol this guy clearly dont know what hes talking about. He's the type of guy to look at the scoreboard and say "hmmm...more then 1-2 goals against eh? need a new goalie"

What I don't understand is that there were ties in the NHL since they began what in the 1920's ? even when hockey expanded in the US in the late 60's & early 70's. So Americans for decades have watched the NHL with ties. So all of a sudden, the Americans are confused about ties? What were they doing during the previous decades of NHL ties?

The shootout HAS to go. Here's is the solution that works. Nix the shootout. Play 10 minutes of OT. The team that scores get 3 points. The team that loses gets ZERO. If at the end of the 10 minutes, no one scores, they each get a point, end of game, game ends in a tie. Due to the 3 points on the line & the elimination of the loser getting 1 point, that 10 minutes will be very intense. But to make it even more exciting, the 1st five minutes is 4 on 4, the last 5 monutes is on 3 on 3. Imagine all the breakaways!!!!!

Totally agree. No team should be given a point for losing...that's just stupid. That's like getting a participation medal just for showing up....

NFL has ties. They're just really rare because it's not that hard to move 40 yds down the field and kick a FG to win it within an overtime quarter.

Completely pooped the bed and looked like tired fools when they should not have been.

Fire away on them because they deserve it. Plays to right into the theory that some have about the so-called 'weak psyche' of the team. It's real and it needs to be addressed and I think the coach is adding more fuel to the fire.
