I do realize Howard is not elite...but the Wings have won many games without elite goaltenders. I just don't think it is that big of a problem compared to your blueline and role players.

Schnieder to Detroit makes no sense at all considering there are rumblings Howie is close to signing a new long term deal with the wings. Plus I think Howie is a better tender anyways. He could back up Howie because Gus is sketchy at best. But a back up goalie at 4M no thanks. Not happening.
