Mike Grier was just awesome at being awesome. Integrity, Heart, Effort on every shift. It's no coincidence that the final six years of his career and only when he's been on the team have we made the playoffs since the lockout.

I'm not saying I think the Mike Grier sitting on the couch 2013 would make us a playoff team. Im just stirring up nostalgia of a great buffalo sabre.

Spend the offseason packaging picks and prospects to get a Legit #1 Center. Give up anyone and anything. Make a run at Malkin. If you cant get him go after Thornton. 3rd option that may be available is Vinny Lecavier, not my 1st pick, but he can be a legit #1 center.

Booth UFA's this summer. That would be a hell of Summer for the Sabres. Probably would never happen, butif I am the GM I make a serious run at both of them. Those 2 plus Ott makes this team a nightmare to play against for other teams.

This should be an exciting few months. I expect lots of changes with this team. I was rooting for the to blow it up, now it seems as though imploding is the more likely outcome.

Miller has every right to be mad with his team. People always complain about how no one is holding people accountable for their bad play but whenever miller holds people accountable people jump all over him. Yeah he played a bad game today but so did the whole team. Miller knows what it takes to win but no one on this team cares to do anything about it.
