you must not have watched a lot of Kings games last year.....or the year before.
Sure he isnt having his best year this year, but Miller has been that good since 09-10. The ONLY year Miller had a GAA under 2.53. - Homer
LA Kings let up the 5th least shots per game in the NHL. Brian Elliott was a vezina caliber goalie last year in a defensive system. |

IMO McNabb seems like the perfect player to trade!
Big young d-man who hits and has a huge upside and could be a big part of our future. After all Darcy STILL believes that we can win with these (frank)s and is going to retool the roster a little, so poop lets trade McNabb - rustbelt82
he should be up here right now. |

well kassian was moved because of foligno, and maybe they knew he wasnt as good as advertised.
so unless thats the same situation as mcnabb. but who knows with young players - robz228
Folignio = Kassian. Intresting both are enigmas thats about it imo. |

the kings ransom comment was accurate though. i bet before hodgson was offered darcy had no intentions of trading kassian. it would have to be the perfect storm again for them to move mcnabb IMO (and bernier might be it). |

I personally think he's slightly above average that got hot in the right time last year. Let's not forget he let up a goal from center ice in the playoffs |

I guess winning games and having great GAA means little to you.
Heck, forget winning games, he won the Cup and the Conn Smythe....but he's not every good accoarding to you.
His save % last year was .929 and .946 in the Playoffs....that's great. Not good, Great. Doesnt matter hiow many shots he faces, he stops them. |

We have NO physical D-men on our team or in our pipeline if we let him go...
I would trade Pysyk and everyone else before McNabb... |

There is that echo in here again today....
I have wanted him here alllllllllllll year... him and Myers were f'n linemates at prep school.... McNabb is the physical stay home d-man that Myers needs in order to be the D-man we love him to be like in 09. |

It does mean something. I just don't think he's close to elite. |

I personally just think he is the perfect fit for what we need... young... semi-exposed.. many seasons of above average results.. small contract...
There are a lot of goalies that have talent but not a lot of goalies that fit on your team. |

It does though. Did you see the Kings lockdown style in the playoffs? He rarely faced odd man rushes or Breakaways. He was very good |

Has nothing to do with Bernier. I said this in the offseason Quick wasn't great. |

i wouldnt trade anything for him. its not worth trading for a goalie. which is why miller wont be traded. |

I really do wonder who would be on Miller's 8 teams to not trade to....
NYI, CLB, FLA, PHX, EDM.....??? idk... |

Until he took a dumb penalty at the end of the game.... - jochfr
The game was over then. He did draw the penalty the team needed And in typical fashion they didn't score because this team is full of losers who don't perform under the least amount of pressure. |

This team needs to rebuild......so Pysyk and McNabb should be the last players you trade.
But of course Darcy thinks that the current roster can still win so it makes perfect sense to trade Pysyk and McNabb for a few guys that in Darcys twisted vision thinks will make the current roster a cup contender. |

It was the first season under coach Ted Nolan and the last for the Sabres at Buffalo Memorial Auditorium. Nolan brought an exciting brand of hockey to Buffalo. During his coaching tenure, Buffalo was referred to as the "hardest-working team in hockey"
Wikipedia
I had seasons during this time period - ZamboniMassacre
Nolan is not a good coach, my god i can't believe people are still believing this. If he was so good way has he failed at the last two jobs he had and why is he not coaching now.... Nolan was good because he had HASAK...... |

There are a lot of goalies who can look great if their defense in front of them is up to par...
MIller in the olympics with a stellar defense in front of him showed the difference that season....
same thing with Hank last year.. his defense was phenomenal...
Rinne always has had great defense in front of him...
Howard looks great every year when they had Lidstrom...
But then there are the vice-versas... Chicago makes a poopty goaltender look good.. Boston can make any goalie look good... STL can make any goalie look good.. and I bet SJ/Pitt could make a lot of average gaolies look great too. |

Neither guy will have success with the way our defense is playing. Debate over. |
|
|
|
We need to trade all of the big 3 if possible....
Vanek
Pommer
Miller
in that order of importance of needing to be dealt.... - JVince11
You have to have someone to build off of... Look at Edmonton, lots of young guys but no experience and they are still at the bottom |

how many games did the kings lose 1-0, 2-1 last season?
if you cant see how he played in the playoffs either you just have something against him or you have blinders on, he has already done more for the kings in a few years than miller has done in his career
remember he had offseason back surgery and his D has been injured pretty much from game 1 |
