It's still mind boggling that he's making the calls on deadline day. How is it that they can fire the guy who fans actually have a crap about but keep this baboon. Seriously if you took a poll on how many fans would be sad to see Darcy go I am fully convinced it would be all no's.

That fact that we weren't the only ones knocking on Flynn's door made me think he might be a fairly good player. To my recollection Philly was one of the teams that wanted him as well.....they IMO have a good track record with Read.

You have to consider a few things....what does Pegula do when he isnt the owner of the Sabres? Work? Family Etc..

Why do so many fans feel like he needs to give us weekly fireside chats on the team.

Whats the dude going to say? The team is bad. I hope my guys that are on payroll can fix it. Its not in good taste (usually) for a owner to be a loudmouth and throw his staff under the bus or be a hands on owner unless he knows this team inside and out...hes owned it for two years....this is going to take some time.

I wouldn't. If you know you are going to fire someone, you should just do it as soon as the decision is made, that goes for all jobs.

Everyone seems to want Burke as our GM... I mean he isn't the worst choice but Toronto wasn't very good under him.
