Mackinnon, Crosby comparisons....they are everywhere

one is 2 years old and I wouldnt call the other two hockey compariosns.....either way, he is no Crosby, Crosby is a once in a decade type player.

Bottom line is MacKinnon came in ranked #1 at the beginning of the season and he will end up 3rd if not 4th at the end of the year. I would take Seth Jones over anyone.

Mackinnon will be drafted 2nd or 3rd. No way he goes to 4th. Jones is the #1 prospect at this point.

There also isn't a Wayne Gretzky, a Keith Primeau, an Owen Nolan, a Garry Galley, as the names of the draftees are all different. There is, however, a Seth Jones. He looks much more polished than Erik Johnson was when he went #1 overall (maybe the best #1 defenseman than Jovanovski). However, if the Oilers draft #1 overall, no doubt they'll take MacKinnon. But really, Jones seems like he has all of the tools to be a to pair defenseman.

No-I found an article to show how Drouin has risen in the rankings since the year started. The knock on him before this season was his speed and size. He is still slow and small.

Everyone knows that Drouin wasnt on the radar preseason. What does that have to do with anything?

He dominated the playoffs last season along with MacKinnon, and then hes dominated this year, had a better WJC than MacKinnon, has performed well beyond expectations with MacKinnon not playing... yeah hes so overrated.

He has not played better. And you continue to ignore that he is still playing with Frk, one of the Red Wings top prospects, and he is till playing in the Q. Look at what Grigorenko did in the q. Now look at what he did in the NHL. Just because Drouin puts up #'s in the Q doesnt mean it will translate. Look at some of his other measurables. His size an speed come to mind, both of which he is lacking.

The Flyers can offer you Matt Walker for a 7th overall pick (although 5th seems like the fun number this year). He's definitely not a finesse player.
