Excuse me, Flynn has played well, and Pysyk is on his way to the HOF.. What I'm saying is that he got 3rd and 4th line players to play better.. who cares. Is that what we need? Am i making excuses????? I think I just told you I didn't fall for the 20 year old average aged top 3 centers as driving this team to the playoffs.
I just used examples of Rolston developing nobodys! So thank you for helping me with my point.
Rolston can develop nobodys and we can pay them like that, instead of paying guys way more than they deserve and have never showed up on a consistant basis in their careers. How am I making any excuses for this organization?????
They have completely mismanaged this roster and have not brought in any Stanly Cup winners. It's a joke.
You can rip me all you want about the coach and I'm sure you have done your research on his career, but Rolston is not going to fix Pommer and Vanek. No one will. They need to be surrounded by winners, which this team and 0 Stanley Cup winners on the roster. It's a joke. Expectations were way too high for this season, not too mention after a lockout, nobody can gage exactly what teams will be in the best shape and play the best. The post lockout Sabres take for example, the rest of the league preidicted that team to be a bottom feeder and they dominated. Did you think Montreal was going to have 5 regulation losses at this time??? I mean come on. This team does not have the right vets. It's time to actually fully rebuild and bring in a coach that can teach them. If it's not rolston bring in someone similar, someone that has good experience as a developer. - Morskdog89
Agree with just about all of that, but I can't imagine that our over cautious, afraid to make a mistake GM would pick someone who isn't over cautious and afraid to make mistakes.. We agree this team is in need of major roster overhaul, and i think new voices from top down could be necessary as well

Unless we are lucky and get 1st overall it should be Drouin. We will not get two picks in the first three so let's leave that part alone.

Ruff didn't have these guys on the roster and they have been some of our better players, while our over priced softs vets with the exception of Ott watch these kids out play these millionaire bums.
Ruff coudlnt fix the vets and neither is Rolston but at least Rolston has gotten secondary scoring!

With that being said, I love the trade for Ott and Hodgson. Sometimes Regier does get something right.

These vets are a killer for this franchise. I suppose you are right in saying it's tough to judge RR when he is leaning on them for leadership.....

Anyone who has played for this organization for 5+ years, or here since 06-07 need to go IMO. So all of the Big 3.

Douin and Macknnon are over rated. If we can get seth jones I am a happy camper.
