Find me a major scout not ranking those two top 5, and I'll apologize. Then crank out a post without something misspelled, and I'll apologize again. "Socout?"

Drouin was not ranked inside the top 20 this year by any major paid scouting service* (Mckeens, FC, ISS, HP) heading into this season.

OK, then.. .
If you would take a moment of your time, and please elaborate on how in your eyes, the two aformentioned forwards, who are continuously ranked in the top 3 by many of the respected prospect ranking organizations are overrated.

TSR raanked him #12 in DEcember. I know he is high on the charts right now, but I don't think he is in the same class as Seth Jones or Nathan MacKinnon. His speed is average in the QMJHL. He has great hands and unbelievanle vision. He is smallish and has a ton of points on the best team in the Q this year. That's all I'm saying, I am not trashing him, I just think the Value is there for top 3.

You know Mackinnon and Drouin are over rated? You should tell EVERY SCOUT IN THE WORLD. That way they can start ranking them out of the top 5...

lol true. I want Seth Jones. But I'll be happy as hell with any of them. I just think and hope maybe Seth Jones can be Myers long term asnwer. Who knows.

Ovechkin made a great move pulling it from his backhand to his forehand and releasing it quickly. Pominville reacted to the puck still being on his backhand, and it was a bang-bang play that he couldnt beat.

This is so wrong. The point that the coach made last night and that our captain doesn't understand is that a player in Pominville's position needs to sell out. God forbid that Jason Pominville, the captain, drops down and blocks a shot because that would be leading by example.
Pat Kaleta would have blocked that shot, and if he didn't block the shot, he would have made the effort.
The captain did not. Lazy and in my opinion, selfish.
I agree with Paul Hamilton: Pominville needs to go. Soon.

intelligent enough? - ImThatGuy
I would rank the top 3 as Jones, Barkov and Mackinnon.

You want him to dive head first? Vanek was equally as lazy on that play. Didnt fight through the winger to get to the puck. But, nah, its all Pominvilles fault.
