Wrong-I do watch. Grigorenko was putting up better numbers then either of them when he failed miserably here. The Q is the weakest of the 3 junior leagues in Canada and Halifax is absolutely loaded with high end talent. - Pillar
Sidney Crosby came out of the Q. I guess since he lit up the Q on a pace like Drouin is doing, why was there so much hype? As an aside to that argument. Which of the three players flamed out at the WJC? Failed to impress anybody?
1) Seth Jones had a terrible first 4 games in the tournament. He was average at best.
2) MacKinnon was nonexistent. You didnt even hear his name. He played 4th line all tournament and did nothing.
3) Drouin was a monster. 17 years old. Started out on the 4th line. Impressed his coach, impressed everyone. Got moved up to playing with Nugent-Hopkins and Scheifele and continued to dominate.
You're crazy if you think Drouin is over rated because hes dominating the Q and its a "weak" league. |

Drouin has continued his success without Mackinnon or Nugent-Hopkins(WJC) centering him. His production while playing with different centers speaks for the fact he is not a product of surrounding talent |

Ott - hodge -pommer
Vanek - ennis - flynn
Foligno - hecht - leino
Gerbe - porter - kaleta
Switch these fn lines up.... Pathetic to see both hecht and porter - JVince11
I wouldn't touch 82-12-65 right now but I see your logic.
Kaleta needs to get in and Hecht needs to be waived. For now, 42-55-36 on the fourth line, 26-63-21, 9-19-29. |

I don't know much about Drouin but if they're close I would rather have the center.
If we get the chance to take Seth Jones, I would. |

Question for everyone:
Should Cody be our #1 center next year? - sambarugh
Yes, unless we sign a real badass #1 center, which we have no chance of doing. |

So he was quick enough to get there and miss the stick check but he couldn't sell out? - RDRoach16
One stride off the faceoff, Ovechkin was already pulling it to his backhand. Pominville reacted to this and tried reaching to poke check it off his backhand. However, Ovi was too quick and already had it on his forehand and released the shot. By the time Pommer reaches Ovi, the shot is already off his stick.
I put 75% of the blame on Hodgson who went 5W and 16L in the faceoff dot. And Rolston still had him taking faceoffs in the second and third period on the PP. |

What is the major obsession with drouin? Doesnt he sort of represent everything we hate about the current sabers? Smaller, non-physical "skilled" players? |

True. Or atleast get a solid, defensively responsible center and move Ennis back to wing. I want Corey Perry. Vanek Ennis Perry, Leino Hodgson Ott. Something like that |

Overall tournament? Nope. He turned it around and had a solid Semi's and Finals. But he was terrible at the start.
Drouin was solid the entire tournament. 17 years old. Got moved up to play with Nugent-Hopkins because he was easily Canada's best player in the group games. |

That is not his game at all. He has a fire inside of him. He is really difficult to move off the puck. He is not afraid to go along the wall. |

Sources saying #Sabres ready to blow up their roster and the only untouchables include Vanek, Hodgson, Sulzer, Foligno.
I think thats the same as the Ottawa Sun report....but Sulzer???
isnt he on a one year deal anyway?
Homer is this report accurate? |

Unreal.
You're right man, we need more 6'3" pests. More Steve Otts. That have heart and not talent. That run around taking dumb penalties, and just crushing people.
