Not me. I say trade pomminville. He is the Captain, and he is not a very good one. If he was not the C, I might not want him gone, but he is the C. This team needs to bring in the new era. Vanek is the teams best goal scorer. I would trade him too, but I dont have too. I have to trade Pommer if I am the GM and am trying to get serious about rebuilding.

He's prob gonna demand an 8year deal, for at least 6mil, prob more like 7mil per...
Do we really wanna be giving him 6mil+ during his late 30s?
Do we wanna give Vanek a similar deal for big $$$ into his late 30s?
To re-sign Miller, that deal prob takes him into his 40s!!!

These guys are all GREAT players IMO,
But they just aren't good enough to carry this team to a cup...

We still have a huge season ticket waiting list
And we still live close to the biggest hockey market in the world... Canadians will buy tickets just to see PRO hockey bc it's expensive and tough to get Leafs tix
I don't think selling tickets will be much of an issue at all
I'd even say most Sabres fans are begging for change, and ready to move on from this "core" and get behind this talented group of youngsters we have

Did I complain about him when he was on fire? Calling Pominville points secondary assists is laughable.

Vaneks last 15 games : 3 goals and 6 points.

He does this every year. He won't end up in the top 10 in scoring after being head and shoulders above everyone after 10 games. How is that acceptable to have nosedives like this every year
