Boulton playing, AMAC playing 25 mins a game, Ullstrom getting benched, Constant bad line changes, Boyes being on the first line(I'm convinced Snow has more to do with this than anyone), Reasoner out at the worst imes against the teams top lines or down by a goal with 2 mins left, Martin seemingly being demoted for playing good? I can go on with this, the guy is a (frank)ing joke. - Cptmjl
This would make some episode of the X-Files. I can only imagine what is going through Wang's mind. |

(frank) Sens fans for saying how impressive it is they came back with the Methot injury...they don't win poop without the refs help. |

the gryba "high stick" penalty was a joke...the kicked in goal was subjective I guess..the replays showed what I saw and the reversed the call on the ice...
either way the refs suck every single game - TheMike12
Absolutely, I'm not blaming them for the loss. Isles did it all by themselves but you even calling it a "kicked in goal" is a joke. The guy was stopping on one skate with his other foot in the air, how the hell do you kick in a puck with one skate on the ice? The Gryba penalty on Cizikas was so clearly a 6'4" guy trying to stick check a 5'9" player but forgetting how short he was, happens all the time. Cizikas drew it definitely but he clearly got nailed in the face with his stick and fist. Maybe you did'nt have the same replay? Whatever my team mailed it in in the third period thats why they loss |

That's why this team needs a real NHL coach. And this outcome I kinda expected. Team wins 2 in a row, then poops the bed. It's typical. A capuano coached team doesn't win 3 in a row unless they are out of the playoff picture. - The Iceman
Like clockwork. This loss was no surprise. They were playing at the Coli so a loss was a good bet. |

How many times do call go against us with 1 minute of play left or overtime? But as Ranger fans say we are just homers this happens to every team. I still have yet t see this happen to a team we are facing |

This league is a joke. Clear bias. Calls usually go toward Canadian teams and Rangers and Pittsburgh. Like that we are three or four points out now with a tough schedule ahead. |

Until we have an owner that shows he cares for the team why should the league care? Isles need to have respect for themselves first and that starts with the owner. |

haha. once again isles cant win more than 2 games in a row.
when is last time have won 3 games in a row or more. i have to think it is very long time ago.
Im not feelling good about next two games now. Nabby is tired and should not play thurs. but he will. lose on thurs and then definite loss on friday and suddenly euphoria of ths 5-1-1 hot streak will be forgotten.

Still unacceptable. Every team should be treated the same regardless of the owner. In the end the fans suffer. |

This was a must win with these two games coming up. I agree about Nabby. They call up Poulin and never play the guy. When he does play he gives up a bad goal. I wonder why that is? |

The refs help? You mean because we scored on PP's that were deserved because your team is undisciplined? Get out of here. |

That's life though it's not fair. The Refs look at the Isles bench and see Cappy. I bet it would be different if Ruff was behind the bench. Until the Isles stop with the lousy coach and some of these lousy players I'm not going to blame the Refs. The Refs are the least of the Isles problems. |

the islanders benefit from officiating more than almost any team in the league. your team is one of the lowest penalized teams in the league, and you are in the top 10 for PP opportunities.......
so PLEASE, continue crying about how the refs steal games from you....and completely ignore the fact that your team choked their asses off. |

I am getting sensitive because I really want to see this team make the playoffs. It's long overdue. I am tired of the same teams every year. Also I would love to see what Garth will do at the deadline..... |

I could see if the goal was waved off by the on ice officials and there wasn't enough evidence but the fact it was called a good goal on the ice and it was overturned infuriates me. In no way was that a distinct kicking motion and in no way was their evidence to overturn that.
At the same time, the isles put themselves in a position where one or two plays or calls could cost them the game and it did. How many (frank)ing goals has this team given up in the 3rd period? Probably more than half of their total goals allowed. It's embarrassing and a sign of a bad coach, bad talent on defense, lack of confidence. |
