What happened to the puck that was obliterating your head earlier? I was enjoying the change. |

I just did a quick back read and didn't see any suggestions besides a rumor that had Read+ going for Bouwmeester |

Matt Read will be 27 in 3 months. Jay Bouwmeester is 29. HUGE age gap there - Jsaquella
elliott friedman reported the calgary interest in read. he is a good source, so i believe there is something to it. Moves will be made by homer for a d-man, rest assured. Beyond B Schenn, Couter, Voracek, Giroux, Simmonds, Timonen and .Schenn, i would move the remaining parts if it improved improving our defence and getting another goal scorer. |

Read in a package for JBO how would Philly feel about that? I would personally love to see Read go. |

The point now is to start building for the future and getting this team heading in the right direction. And not wasting the 20 games that are left. Laviolette is not showing any signs that he is capable of doing that. And from your descriptions of Murray as a Coach, it doesn't seem as though you are clear on what kind of Coach he is to know if he's the right fit. And he would be for the interim, not for the long term. - MJL
I am shocked that Lavy was not fired this morning? |

They're back on the same pages as the "Couturier or Scheen plus our 1st for Yandle" trade scenarios. You'll recognize them because I threw up all over them. |

No, I prefer Dekeyser. Both would be solid additions. - mayorofangrytown
I honestly know jack about any college player not drafted by the Flyers but considering the lack of depth in the system, I am all for bringing some in. right now the Flyers have 35 guys under contract next year with 2 potentially sliding (Laughton and Stolartz) and 9 RFA's. gotta think they will part ways with Kessel and Harper. the other 7 are Rinaldo, Wahl, Wellwood, Gus, Manning, Lauridsen and Harry Z. |

Read, despite recent struggles, has been one of our best players the past 2 years. With the way this team is struggling to score, and with our current position in the standings, I see zero reason to trade him for the 2nd most overpaid defenseman in the league (Komisarek). Just my position. |

Really don't want to lose Read but I guess it also depends on what it is going to take to get him re-signed being he will be a UFA after next season. that said I really don't want JBOW for that cap hit |

the idea was brought up for the other organization to absorb some of the cap hit, which IMO makes it a little more enticing. |

Since they are so bad at drafting Defence it's probably a good tactic to sign the more developed college kids and getting them in the system that way. |
