Only one more year under contract and then he's a UFA. I don't think that gets you a 1st. Maybe something in the 25-30 range, maybe. No prospect if you're getting that tho. |

Eh her days are numbered. If Joffrey don't get beat to death inside of three episodes I might seriously be done with Games |

Taking it you have not read the books then?
Just wait for the "Red Wedding" it was my favorite part of the series the first time I read the books many years ago. |

The shows aren't inspiring a desire for me to blow upwards of $10 on a kindle copy and be put to sleep. My thing with that genre is, if dudes with armor and weapons are walking around, then a regular sequence if mayhem needs to occur otherwise set it in a coffee shop and be done with it. FYI I'm a major R.E Howard fan, puts all these works to shame |

Well he was the Captain of his team. Need to start grooming the replacement for Giroux.

I only live in Lexington and work at UK. I am not a fan.
However, I can report that it is mighty, mighty quiet in these parts (and I am writing from my office on campus). They must be awful depressed to not at least be out breaking poop in frustration.
(As an aside, having now attended 3 land grant universities, I've noticed that college students celebrate huge victories and soften the blow of agonizing defeats in much the same way: Get wasted, hit the streets, break/burn poop.) |

Going to have to replace Briere somehow. College squirt can probably put up similar numbers as Danny has this season. Hell, as a bonus, maybe the college kid can play some D. |

Well they only gave him one year, where Read got 3.
But his coach said he;s a good playmaker & solid defensively |

If he plays anywhere close to Read, he will be a decent addition. The playmaker and D aspects sound good. Hopefully he develops. Be interesting to see what he does in ADK.
EDIT: Plus he is a good Irish lad...probably not afraid to drop the mitts |

The third book of the series, which will be split over the next two seasons, is so outrageously unreal( I can't describe how much I loved it) the show won't capture it. There's too much material. Season two was like the cliff notes version of book two. I dig the show but I'm obsessive about the books |
