My prediction is one. Anything more than two is unfair, I think. You're absolutely right that it's not what the Leafs need right now. He's just back, and now he's going to be out again (albeit for a different reason).

Nice to see you're not a typical "homer" screaming for 5-10 games as most other team bloggers would. I think you're right that there was no intent and Lupul's not a dirty player, Hedman wasn't hurt, etc...but I still think Shanny needs to send a message with at least 2 games...otherwise players never learn....might not have been intentional but players still need to try and be more careful.

One thing I don;t get is why the hit to the head penalty is only 2 minutes...should be a minimum of 4. Most high sticking calls are 4 minutes and some 5 minutes but most of the time player is not seriously hurt and is actually out there for the powerplay....hit to the head can be more serious....have to make it at least a double-minor

I don't understand a call of only 2 mins. either. I guess one or two games as it's tough to defend that it was only a glancing blow when you elbow someone in the head that's 6'6"

you could tell from the start that they weren't as energetic as other games but..
what were they 3-1-1 in their last 5 before last night? good way to start our play off push, 3-2-1 now i THINK (not sure really) but overall need a full game like the last 5 min of last game were played...buzzing all over the leafs in the final frame of the 3rd...too bad it wasn't like that all game-_-

Hedman's 6-foot-6. Lupul got his head, and to do that to Hedman takes a little bit of effort. He seemed to leave his feet and pop up a little bit right before getting him in the head.

No worries, I'm there reading a couple times a day at least. Them and Michael are pretty much it for specific Lightning coverage. Rawcharge.com is good for a laugh and occasional face-in-palm. nhl.com and tsn.ca/nhl have some stuff, but the first two are key for anything Bolts related.
