I wonder...When was the last time two teams who made a significant in season trade played against each other in the Cup Finals? I'm sure it may have happened in the Original 6 days, but recently? Would make or an interesting dynamic in the finals. |

Dont know about that but a center was aquired by the LAK at yhe dead line last year and he contributed to them winning the Cup. |

nobody knows Bolland better than Bergevin so it makes sense.
I don't know anything about Eller----just hope he steps up in playoffs
As far as Tinordi is concerned.....maybe he'll be a player......maybe not...
but I tend to doubt that the Montreal D was so good they couldn't find a spot for him.......didn't his father cheap shot and really hurt Roenick
I can't blame Stanley for moving Leddy if his agent lied to the organization--you can't do business with guys like that but couldn't that wait until we didn't need a PP anymore.....like in July.....maybe Doug Crossman's coming back - nellie
Lots of assumptions guys...lots of assumptions.
I just don't see anything for a combination of Leddy and Bolland.
I have a hard time seeing the Hawks trading Leddy. I do not doubt JJ's account of Suter drama and impact of agents, but I am off the opinion that it is apples and oranges. Unless it is already common knowledge in the Front Office that Leddy is gonna command a 4 million plus and term, Though I can see him just south of PK Subban money 2.5 for a few years. You buy out Montador, it is a wash.
So long as Bolland plays with Kane and Sharp, he can get away with his choppy offense. Ideally ,it would be nice to add that second line guy, but does Bolland get you Plekanec? Plus even if you can get Plekanec, do you have to give up Frolik too? In my opinion, you trade Frolik to keep Stalberg in the offseason. Another wash.
Bolland for Eller is is an over pay for hawks.
Weber is too vanilla.
Tinordi can not be going anywhere. He is the only guy of size they have. Yes he is young, but those guys don't grow on trees, they are trees.
I am more on board with adding the lower line guy, the Hendricks, Thompson guy.

With the Avs coming into our division next year, zero chance of this happening would be my guess. - NewToHockey

Hello Sir! Always nice to see GTA Hawks' support. I hosted some Hawks fans at Shoeless Shoes (King St. downtown) for a game, you'll have to make it out next time.
I actually work at Elliot's birthplace... The Score. I've been there for 5 years in the Sales department. He was just popping in for a visit - he still have strong ties with us. - TyCamScore
The Score. That's awesome. Sounds good to get to watch a game with fellow Hawkers.
I was at a tourney this week at York Uni. With my Hawjs Jersey. The ref looks at me and says " That's my team too. Big win against Dallas eh?" I say, "Damn right!" |

Ya man... soon the Score will be Sportsnet... something. We've been bought by Rogers. But it was a great independent company while it lasted.
haha nice. You're lucky he wasn't a Detroit fan.
PM me your info and I'll be sure to include you on the next event.
Cheers,

Huh?
I'm a little confused as to what you're getting at Al. Mike had a question about how realignment was going to affect the playoffs, and I sent a link that included some info pertaining to that. |

Sorry long day and I was jumping in the middle...
Are they revising the playoffs to the old way with the realignment? I don't remember if this was mentioned when it was approved.
