Actually yes. But I doubt you wish to work for the "man"... Corporate life blows monkey chunks. Although your hiring manager would be a punk who listens to goth music while reviewing resumes and giggling to herself at the lies when not wasting time on the Flyersbuzz board. - FlyersGrace
My resume is devoid of lies.
Probably the most humorless thing I've ever written. |

Goth Chick on board? - mayorofangrytown
Guilty as charged... Aren't you people lucky? Of course I'm also a gamer and a Flyers fan... So hopefully those gain me back some brownie points. |

Fair question. I suppose in the strictest usage sense, yes, there should (and likely is) a footnote associated with any changes in what would be deemed a "normal" season.
Here's a question: Do you believe a condensed 48 game season is more, less, or about as fatiguing as a 82 game regular season? - wolfhounds
It's probably got a similar impact for older players, because they're getting less rest between games. For kids, a lot player in Europe or the AHL. |

I don't either. I'd be comfortable with Bouwmeester or Yandle, so long as the cost isn't too high. - Jsaquella
with you on that, I would move Read and Mezaros for either of them. |

For that kind of money, I'd rather go with Brian Campbell. - Tomahawk
Fair Point, but Bouwmeesetr only has a season or two left. Campbell has 4 or 5 |

It's less fatiguing, but that's the thing; it's less fatiguing on all of the teams (theoretically). So really, the playoffs should be even harder than usual since you'd expect the teams to be fresher and healthier than in an 82-game season. So instead of a team just feeling good knowing that they don't need to play as many games, it's also frightening because the other teams are just as fortunate. |

Mine is these days. Although my very first coporate job I got because of a creative resume. I needed a space filler on my resume straight out of school so I had activities. One of them was that I was trained in swordfighting (true). The hiring manager was a Shakespearian actor. And so he brought me in to meet me. I landed the job from there. (I almost said I nailed the interview and then realized you guys would take that the ABSOLUTE wrong way.) |

I have Marty in mind right now. With his time off being injured on top of the shortened season, I could see him tearing it up in the post-season, especially given the fact he's likely a season or 2 from retirement. |

So what you're saying is you have no idea what the hashtag is?
I wish I had a good example for you, something to show you to remove the cloud of doubt you're clearly living in.

In truth, I don't understand a lot of things. I just try to get by on savvy. For instance, I like to pretend I have a dry sense of humor, when in realty they're just #badjokes |

He's definitely Frenchy. |

That's why I am open to a trade, but not pushing for one.
When it comes down to it, I'd prefer to trade Meszaros. - Jsaquella
no question...with all the questions surrounding him, though, i don't think homer'd get much of anything. think we have to just hope he bounces back next year. we know he has the talent |

That's crazy, when do message boards filled most with males ever get out of hand upon learning one of their cohorts is a female?
That never happens on the interwebs... |

nice what games? - Philly1980
Tabletop roleplaying - Rifts, D&D, SLA, Kult, Mutants and Masterminds, almost all the Whitewolf games...
My PS3 and XBOX have been collecting dust since Final Fantasy, Mass Effect 3 and Skyrim lost their flavor. So I've been on my comp. Used to raid in WOW... Fell in love with AION until some of my friends got booted, played Star Wars the Old Republic which I thoroughly enjoyed and most recently been playing Guild Wars 2.
Right now it's mostly been tabletop though. |

Much to my dismay. Their shot selection is horrendous. |
