Gerbe can stay right where he is....in the press box. Nice guy and all, plays with the heart of a much bigger man, I'll never question his heart, competitiveness, or desire but I'm done with the Gerbe. Just not effective enough. Trade him anywhere for anything you can get for him and move on.

Really? Offensively I haven't but defensively he has been great. I wouldn't sit him for Gerbe.
- Smittyx36

Take Porter out, who plays center? Cant sit Porter for that reason. I've enjoyed watching Porter get the minutes that Hecht used to get, thats for sure.

He hasnt chipped in offensively as much as we would want out of our 3rd line center. But hes been extremely solid, i thought. He created the Foligno goal. Outworked the Leafs player in the corner for the puck, sent it to the point, and redirected it towards Foligno. Not to mention that great 2 on 2 play he made.

I do believe Mr. Miller owes the Otter a box or two of beer and vice verse for tonight's win.

it's definitely an improvement. our 3rd line centering has been horrible this year. i don't fault grigo, he's a pup but hecht, i don't even hate hecht like everyone else but goddamn he's a downgrade from goose. i don't hate we got a 1st for goose at all, had to do it, but we definitely downgraded A LOT! i never notice porter out there so i guess i can't really speak on him but maybe that's the problem.

any news Homer?

Orr did, 29 PIM in 1 shift. I wish Kaleta would have dropped the gloves penalty or not.

It's not just from tonight, never been a huge fan.

Plays all tough, but ducks when Orr tries to fight him.

I realise you may say phaneuf does the same but atleast he isn't a dirty player.

Edit: Kaleta also runs a player and flies into the bench, the falls (dived) when Fraser touched him

I know you do, I just yelled at you on the other board. Orr is a heavy weight, Kaleta is not, no reason for him to fight Orr. And if you watch the reply he did drop the gloves but he had no chance. I think it was a sumbag thing for Orr to do.

Right, Dion plays Lady Bing finalist every year. He's no saint.

Why would he wanna fight Orr????? Orr is a heavyweight, Kaleta isnt. Orr was teh dirstbag tonight, not Kaleta. Not like Kaleta said lets go and then turtles to draw the penalty, he didnt wanna fight in the first place.

Yell at me for what? Orr went after him started the fight and Kaleta didn't get his gloves off or couldn't. When you play like Kaleta and don't fight heavyweight or not , that's part of the reason why people hate him. I thought he was playing well this season and have said it many times but, he should have tried to get his gloves off to fight. you can yell all you want but it doesn't make a difference.

Yes, but he runs guys and starts poop then backs away. Atleast step up every once on awhile.

What would you call Kaleta then, a middleweight?

I think last game they played kaleta bailed against fighting brown who is a middleweight.

Kaleta shouldn't run his mouth especially to Orr if he won't fight him, but then people say Orr is a goon or Kaleta shouldn't fight a goon. Piss the goon off and then run? come on really.

Kaleta has been playing well this year however, if you talk smack and play the way Kaleta plays and you do it to a heavyweight, expect what he got.
