They are lulling the league into a false sense of security... any game now they are going to strike with the full unrelenting power of the NY islanders & they wont relent all the way through to hoisting the cup!

We dominated the best team in the NHL for 30 minutes. Honestly you can't expect beat Pittsburgh, just enjoy it when it happens.

We were lucky the ref's called the game like they owed us something.

Someone needs to stand up, be a man and take responsibility. That, of course will never happen. No balls in the sacks of the GM & coach. No brains in their heads either, for that matter. This season is over. Nothing left to watch but a sinking ship which isn't even as interesting as a train wreck. The push to FIRE GARTH & CAPPY STARTS NOW!!!!

Even the Penguins, who play defense like sh*t, manage to play a 1-2-2, and line four up across the blue line in the third period, when they are ahead. Like every other team on earth has for the last 20 years, except us. The Penguins are tough, and last night our goaltender was cr*p. However, had our team simply played the third period the way Pittsburgh played tonight in the game against Ottawa, THAT game would have been a win. This is WHY our team sucks, because someone in this organization thinks it's a good idea to never, ever play defense, like a normal hockey team.

He's insane. Our power play sucked, Moulson and Boyes aren't first liners and our defense REALLY BLOWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the rebuild is obviously not done... when the players that are key parts to the rebuild are still in Jrs & The minors how can you say its a failure.

If you tell Jack about the 1-2-2 he will think they are dance steps. The best is late in the 2nd period all three forwards caught in the offensive zone instead of thinking defense. I love JT and how he worked on his skating but he serioulsy needs to work on his defense. I think this whole team is still playing Go Go. Might as well have kept Gordon.

The goal late in the 2nd was a bad one by nabby. Vokuhn stood on his head in the first and made some good saves with no rebounds throughout the game. Again, 2 mistakes and the puck is in back of our net. Just not good enough, too sloppy

You should be happy they lost.

They're not going to make the playoffs... if you can't get into the playoffs, then tank.

Take the draft pick... trade off guys @ the trade deadline and continue to build.

I hope Snow is watching these games and realizing this team would be in the hunt right now if he had a supporting cast for JT and maybe another (frank)ing defender. I would even take Komisarek for christ sakes. Waisting time here Garth, this group with a little fine tuning could have made it.

It's hard to think about acquiring more draft picks at this stage and waiting years for these prospects but at this stage I say back up the truck. Move guys like Streit, Vish,Boyes,KO, Bailey, even Nabby. Hopefully we get prospects and some picks back. At least it would be making room for prospects that are ready to step in.
