Just one tiny detail. Subban's stick never touched the Buffalo player. If the coach's challenge existed this would have been a perfect time to use it.
Sabres won that game thanks to Enroth and Ott. But they were severely outmatched from the second period on. If they play no better tonight, do NOT expect another win.
Sadly you're correct..especially with Miller in net. Not sure Buffalo can score the required 4-5 goals against Price to get the win.

Mathematically no we are not out of it. But whats the goal here Darcy? Save your ass with a 1st round exit or win the cup and build a annual cup contender?

Can't stand them, I was watching their game last night and they started chanting "SEND THEM HOME" in the third period when they were loosing 4-0 - Leaffan8113
Honestly, we could probably go through most of the fan bases in the league and find things they do that drive us crazy. It's part of the rivalries around the league. Some are just a bit worse than others.

I gotta put Philly up there. Cheering when an opposing player gets hurt, and then booing him after he finally gets up. - Powerslave
Naaw. Philly fans are just mean.
The Hab's fans are jus so laughable though. Like I mentioned, the ole, ole thing. But also if their player gets touched the entire building is on their feet screaming for a penalty but it's okay if their guy wipes the other guy out.
And the classic: Even if the Hab's are coming out of their zone 3 on 2 the building starts acting like a really great scoring chance is coming any second. Heaven forbid they actually get a breakaway it sounds like the roof is going to come off.
Like I said, I'll never question their passion but my friends and I sit there and laugh the whole game long whenever there's a game to watch at Le Centre Bell.
San Jose is interested in Leopold... they're shopping Ryan Clowe. I like the idea of a Leopold and Gerbe for Clowe and Demers trade. Clowe is a lot like Ott, but fights a little more often. He hasn't scored any goals this year, but in the past he's put up 15-24 goals per season (similar to Ott). He's an UFA at year's end (like Leopold) and I say we give him a trial and if he likes it here, he'll be more willing to return. If the fans can get Ott to fall in love with the team and area, then why not Clowe too? I love their blue-collar style of play... not to mention, Ott and Kaleta can't do it alone out there. With Clowe we could either combine the muscle or spread it across 3 of the lines... providing protection for Ennis, Vanek, etc. on every shift.

New chant for FNC when Montreal is in town:
"Habs blow, yes they blow" Clap-clap-clapclapclap
I tried this in the lower blues at the Aud during a playoff game, and Habs fans nearby looked like they were about to get mugged or something. No sense of humor.

I just became a twitter user and found it interesting that just this past week, Ott started following Clowe.

I'd think Leo+ for Clowe, so I wouldn't count on much of anything coming back other than him.
Not sure why anyone would want Gerbe, sorry to say.

I have to throw in the lower class Leaf fans that can't afford a ticket in Toronto that come to Buffalo to watch their team. I've never seen more fights or drunken obnoxious idiots falling up the stairs and screaming every swear word in the book. A guy three or four rows ahead of me stood up to run out of his row and projectile puked on everyone in his way as he tried to ge to the aisle. It was a great game on Thursday, but that was just the reminder I needed as to why I've sold my Leaf tickets for the last 3+ years.
