Source say the Pens and Stars have a trade in place for Brendan Morrow. However, he has yet to waive no trade clause. |

Darren Dreger @DarrenDreger
I believe Joe Morrow would go to Dallas as part of the deal for Brendan Morrow. |

Morrow would be just that kind of payment. But he would be part of the "package" going to Dallas if it happens. |

Wow, they are going to be a very tough out this year. I know he's played better of late, but I have zero faith in Fleury. The last game he played in Philly, he was beyond terrible.. He's picked it up again, but it just seems when he's bad it's insanely bad.. can't have that in the playoffs if they match up against a team like Boston. |

This team's core is still very young, and guys like Schenn & Couturier will be better and even guys like Simmonds, Voracek and Giroux will continue to improve over the next few years.
In a year or two, this team should be in the mix as a contender. - Jsaquella
With the help of god to get us our #1 dman |

If true, probably be announced two Morrow. |

And if the Flyers can make an improvement on their backend they'll definitely be right in the mix. Ghost is maybe 2 years away from being added into the mix as well. Might be sooner based on the Flyers track history to rush prospects. - flyers20032002
Yep your probably right. They will rush ghost and ruin him. |

With first-time NHL coach Guy Boucher out, the Tampa Bay Lightning are reportedly hoping that veteran Lindy Ruff will take over the duties. It seemed like just a matter of time before Ruff - the longest tenured NHL head coach before being fired by the Buffalo Sabres this season - would find another job. If this happens, it will be interesting to see if he can help turn the Bolts around in their own end and net.

I see Kovalchuk may be out a month for the Devils. Marty will need to pick up his scoring to compensate.. I still say he only has 1 real career goal... When the other team shoots it into their own net it shouldn't count on the all time goalie scorers list. |

Im sure this will creat quite a stir but does anyone think Flyers would move Giroux for a big return? When i say big return absolute 1#Dman, Top 1st line forward (young) as well. Just curious what people would think about that I personally wouldnt be surprised. G is my fav player but makes me wonder how desperate Homer will get to land a D-man I mean this guy was willing to give up 4 1st round picks for Weber that is quite a lot right there. |

i can't see it.. I think the org is now hanging their hats on G. The fans would revolt I think as we just did a massive org shift in 2011.. Homer would look like he can't decide whoch direction the org is taking. You'd get alot, but don't think it'd ever happen. |

I'd be very surprised. Besides, they're not going to get the kind of return you suggest. |

London Knights scored just before the buzzer to send that to OT with Saginaw |

Apparantly all you need to win a cup is a number one dman, Forwards just take up cap space. Just ask Nashville and Phoenix. |

Doubtful. I think Homer would move others before trading captain Giroux. You never know though. |

Oh no doubt you need a lot more than that, truly a team effort just saying this organ-eye-zation is bent on getting a #1 d-man...Have to wonder how much they would trade in return. |

If they were that consumed on getting one, they would have one by now and Sean Couturier would be a Blue or Hab or Pred or something else besides a Flyer |
