How did we get here?

It is simple.

The team under the EIG (the same group who saved the team) set our current course in process

The team was run by bean counters

We had no farm team we had a poor scouting department

We had Kevin Lowe who pulled in 06 pulled off some of edmontons biggest player signing and trades ever as a way of thanking fans for putting up with a team in the 90 and early parts on the 2000.

Blame Lowe all you want. He has a boss he was following orders


In oilerville we like to laugh at the flames current situation, truth be told 4 years ago we were worse we did not have a iggy and kipper to trade.


This team is not yet ready to compete yet because we had no farm system no legit prospects.
