Really? Hmm. Now that is a much more intriguing possibility. For that deal I'd probably do it, I'm not sure if it would be worth it from the Isles' perspective though... Bishop is a decent goalie and would give you a chance to trade Nabokov (if you can do such a thing), and Borocop is an alright defensive prospect, but for some reason I feel like there may be more valuable pieces that you can acquire for Streit...

Streit contract is up and with his weak D I'm not sure how much the Isles can get back for him? Maybe another team values Streit a lot higher? Just watching him play all the time I'm not crazy about Streit.

if Bishop becomes a UFA, then no, but if he is a RFA and we have his rights, then yes....

haven't checked but I keep hearing he will be a UFA, and KO is signed for another couple of yrs, so OTT will have to throw in something more
