I think it was an overpayment, but after the Morrow trade it balances out for the Pens. - Jsaquella
I think so as well. They are adding guys that will do the little things to help them win.
I think they have the talent up front, and its talent that usually works hard and is hard to play against at a consistent level.
Hate the team, but they have a good GM imo. They have been shown that they can be knocked off their game by getting in their heads. Playing more machine like lately, but I dont know if I buy it yet. There are quite a few really gritty good teams they will have to go through. We will see how they hold up.

If they start getting undisciplined, they can be beaten. I'm not sold on either move, but they made a solid move in Morrow. I don't like Murray

I never said you did. I made a post saying how I thought it was a good move, and I thought Murray could bring to the Pens what OD did here as a 6th d-man.
The reply I got basically said there is no way he could do that and I was completely wrong (not from you). Napoleon complex much?
Its (frank)ing rediculous. There are ways to disagree without coming off as a complete smart ass. - flyer_nutter
I don't even have to read the last few pages to know who was commenting.
Two years ago, I did. From everything I have seen, he's really faltered. - Jsaquella
I've always thought he was solid, and I like the physical game he brings. I haven't seen enough of him this season to update my opinion, but that's about to change and I 'll be curious how he performs with the Pens.
And I wouldn't have a problem with the Flyers signing him this off-season for $1.5 for a year or 2. Basically, he'd be taking up the cash freed up by Matt Walker coming off the books.
he could always recover... not like it would be the first time a player returned from a concussion... I think some of you guys just look for something to female dog about really. - JoeRussomanno
You are correct, sir. We should only speak of popsicles and flowers on these boards. Let's all talk about how great the Flyers future is, and never speak out our frustrations of the current state of this slightly less than perfect team.

The Flyers are far from perfect. They have some holes to fill this offseason.
