I agree at this time in history, Morrow is the better fit on the 2nd line. I can't say enough about Bennett however. The kid looks real good. Very gifted and will be a prominent fixture on the Pens for a lot of years. - madmike71
Personally, in the future, i think he will be Crosby's winger for a long time. Malkin has Neal, Crosby will have Bennett. I think HCDB will ease him into the playoffs, and lean heavy on the experienced guys.

Send Bennett and Despres down. If we are going for it, we want to have the best chance. And having 25 players that would normally be on our 23-man roster is the best bet. Pens can call them up after the deadline.
Bennett is good defensively and is a guy who likes carrying the puck and make plays. I feel he'll be the playmaker on the third line and morrow will be what geno and neal have been missing all year. - SayWhat...NoWay
I hope you're right. Neal/Malkin played very well with Kunitz last year and they said Morrow plays with a similar style to Kuni. Like I said, I think he is a good fit on either line. I think the question is where is Bennett the better fit?
Not happy about getting Murray. He is not what this team needs. He CAN"T skate. He will be a liability against teams like Boston or Montreal in the Playoffs. They need guys that can move the puck from the back end. - Pillar
UMMMM ... we have plenty of puck movers champ. We needed to add a physical presence, which Murray brings. He isn't Phaneuf, but is just as tough.

It's scary to think what the kid will become once Kadar helps him add 15 to 20 pounds of muscle and he becomes harder to move off the puck - cap1681
How many times over the years have we heard about a great "up and coming" player then we finally see him and he doesn't exactly have all the tools. Bennett has proven he has the skills to be a very exciting player. He already wins his share of puck battles, but like you say, can't wait 'til he fills out.

As someone else pointed out, just because he isn't fast, doesn't mean he isn't what you guys need. Hall Gill redux. There is a price to being 240 lbs. though.
