good article ... though I disagree with the conclusion. If anything, I'm letting Rinaldo keep his minutes. He's earned them.

There are plenty of other guys on team who could use a couple of shifts less, and their minutes given to Coots. Obviously Briere when he was in there, but Hartnell would qualify too.

Great article. Really what it comes down to is the Flyers are going to have to find away to give Couturier more ice time in better situations, and opportunities to play with better talent. And really how they've been using him is an indictment on just how poor the Flyers are defensively. That a 20 year old kid is put in that role. Thye need to get a veteran checking Centerman in here next year. And play Couturier on a scoring line, and put him in more offensive situations. With better talent around him. Or else they risk burying him and killing his confidence long term.

i think a 4th line center that's good defensively and can consistently win draws should be a priority in FA this offseason. boyd gordon immediately comes to mind. hopefully homer feels the same way
