thanks for the positive news - Don'tForgetTocchet
He looked really good when Saginaw was giving effort but London shut them down and they looked like they had effort like the Flyers.
Oshawa is currently losing 4 - 2 to Niagara
Laughton does have a goal.
Also trying to watch games with top ranked draft prospects too. |

well, it's either that or hitting CSP in the bread basket. either way, it's ineffective. - hammarby31

Im going to let it go, but would benching Timonen for his stupid plays, or Coburn and Hartnell to a degree make them all of the sudden play better and not so stupid?
Would benching Luke Schenn make him play better because of his mistakes this evening?
At the end of it all though, I do agree there needs to be better accountability. I think its too late for that now though. - flyer_nutter
No, right now it makes zero difference. Had it happened earlier, maybe it does.
Somebody will bring up the game Briere got sat and only played 8 minutes. That's great. The next game he played over 20 minutes. Meanwhile, Couturier makes a bad pass and he's stapled to the bench.
BTW, right now, Bruno Gervais is second on the team in ice time, ahead of everyone but Coburn. So now that it's immaterial, Laviolette is rewarding guys who are playing better |

If the Rags had an average Goaltender they would be on par with Florida. |

"hey Watch the turnover ive got LOLja breathing down your neck"
"hey giroux take a man in the d zone. You know maybe your the 2nd best player in the world. Ooooooooo" - Just5
How about benching Briere and using the untouchable trade chip Sean Couturier in his place? How about benching Hartnell and using McGinn? Or rewarding a guy whose work ethic has been unquestionable this year in Rinaldo? |

If there not going to give Coots meaningful minutes, they're better off sending him back to the Phantoms. Lava certainly isn't helping his development right now. |

Lilja was tremendous in his one appearance this year. That second year has paid major dividends. |

Yes the 2006 team largely just couldnt score. - GirouxForTheShow
Seeing as this team rarely scores more than 2 goals, I'd say this season rivals 2006-07. |

I would really like to know how long he would had kept his job if he went up to Holmgren and Snider and told them it may be a development year.
Weird because we all for the most part saw it as an evaluation year and a growing experience for the kids. I dont think management would have accepted such an idea for one second.

I threw it up on the last page, but on an organization that has zero patience, and expects to go balls to the wall every year, I dont think it was too crazy for him to go with the guys who best produced in the past.
It bit them in the ass big time, but I kind of see where the thought process may have been. |

Rinaldo is perfect in his role. Given more ice time he won't be nearly as effective.
I can't argue on Briere!! |

Simmonds is losing it.
For all of his defensive issues, at least he shows some fire. |
