And that's my point. I'm hopeful the isles start spending a little bit sooner or when they get there. Heck, even the kings didn't really spend until two years before they won the cup. And just because the isles want to spend doesn't mean anyone is coming via FA.
I just can't get on board with the 2015 everything will be glorious tangent. I need proof first - Isles316

What do you mean "results" though? Three of the five top-five picks didn't play in the NHL this year. If they had, we'd rightly be complaining about them being rushed again. Was Strome's season a disappointment? Nino's with Bridgeport? I guess Reinhart's could have been better from some things I read.
I don't think the "ifs" are too lofty. Lofty ifs would be saying Nino becomes a top-line power forward, Strome becomes 1a center to Tavares' 1, and Reinhart becomes a complete three-zone top-pair d-man. I don't think that'll happen, but I think all have a decent chance of filling needed roles effectively. - UIF
We'll see. I'm not overly impressed with what I've seen, heard, or read. I like Strome but Snows body of work has not impressed me overall. I don't look at these guys like some on here and think we have what some of you think we have.
