on the flip side of that...garth might have helped himself and the islanders. by allowing the bruins to be players in the iginla sweepstakes, that was one more team to help drive up the price for iginla; granted it wasnt a very high price but having one more team competing for iginla definitely cost the pens more

I personally would rather see Streit go and keep Vis but who knows if he even wants to be here beyond this season.
