True...every game...to be honest with you...I like the shortened season...I wish they would cut the regular season to 60 games... - kear20
Bite your tongue, that's 22 less games to watch! |

Shootouts I agree. Fantastic overall that would be a word I use on JT not Frans. Isles won and are playing big games so that is the important thing |

Would be, I'm still shocked/happy we are watching meaningful games this far into a season . Especially with Capuano as our coach - Cptmjl
Agreed...we might have a choice of Laviolette, Boucher if the Islanders want to make a change... |

Lavi and Wang I think are still close from all the reports I heard and Peter has spoken well of Wang in the past. I can see Wang wanting to hire Peter again. |

#Isles Garth Snow will look to improve his play off bound team, any real serious thoughts on who he could bring to help short/long term
I think Snow won't want to break up the chemistry...but I think he gets Clowe for a 3rd or 4th rd pick...he'll waive either Martinek or Reasoner or he trades Nino for Stafford... |

I'd love to get Clowe but would not move Nino for Stafford. If the Isles want to add I'd love for them to get a dman and Clowe. |

anyone else find it complete odd that Cappy coach his best game as Isles Coach tonight?
Btw, the fact that philly even tied it at end of game was BS. Ref had no idea were puck was and he let the play go on. How often have isles been on receiving end of early whistle.
so happy we won. Isles fought hard all the way.
best of all Reasoner was not in lineup. i hope that guy has seen his last game. |

I would ram my head through a plate glass window if there was ever even a report that Snow offered Nino for Stafford.
I'd literally rather be stabbed to death with spoons than ever see that. |

clowe cant produce on SJ, what makes you think he woudl be huge pick up by isles.
i would definite do Nino for Stafford. Are you nutz. Stafford is excellent and still very young. Nino has world class talent. However he is Lazy and whines too much.
two weeks ago everyone was complaining that isles wont make moves. But now we dont want to make trades.
martinek and Resoner have no trade value. You need to give to get. |

I agree with your first sentence. His changing up the lines turned around the game. It was a nice job at the perfect time of the season. I don't live capuano but we have to give him credit tonight. He made adjustments and they worked |

i thought the same thing. shaking up lines no question and big save by Nabby in 2nd period woke up the isles.
SO glad we finally got s win streak. Lets beat pitt now and really get our confidence going. Wishful thinking but noone has isles beating pitt (Now the cup favorite) this saturday. |

Stafford scored 30 goals one time ever and has never scored more than 20 once any other season. His highest point total is exactly equal to the highest point total of Okposo. You would seriously trade one of our best prospects for that?? |

They are, lots of lineup changes, vokuhn is hit or miss. Isles need to come out like they did last Friday and they will be in game. Nabby also has to eliminate bad goal |

It's hard for me to give someone credit when they did one thing that may have had a positive effect while coaching in 1 game outcome out of 127 |

The Isles do not need for Clowe to be a big scorer they need a big body for the 1st line. Maybe a change will do some good for Clowe? Stafford I have not seen that much but he seems to have a rep for being lazy. Radek and Reasoner will bring nothing. |
