A better coach gets this team at least another 10 points this season which would be huge. Lavy would be very welcome on this team. |

I don't see why you all like Nino so much...I think he is going to be a bust...sorry anyone who was a -29 and only playing 8 minutes a game (about 8 or 9 shifts a game) has bust written all over it.... - kear20
Its too early to tell if he's a bust. He should never have been put on the roster last season. That's not his fault. Its Snow's fault. Nino was nowhere near ready for an NHL shift and the team rushed him onto the roster to get his cap hit to count towards the floor.
If were going to give Bailey and KO all the years they've had to establish themselves, I can't see why anyone would be against letting Nino get a fair chance. A chance to crack the lineup when he is ready for the task and give him top six minutes to show what he can do. |

Exactly. I'd like to think he has the abilities to be a good top six forward, but we won't know for sure until he gets a real opportunity to prove it. |

Lavy can't get the Flyers into the playoffs with the money spent there.
Is he a good coach??? |

For me, it's clearly a toss up between him and Capuano? |

Could you imagine if Snow had the Flyers money to play with?

He (Lavy) has a Cup (with a good but not spectacular, record-spending team), and an additional Cup final appearance. Not a bad resume... |

Again, just being honest here( ) but I was happy with that trade. I thought it was ballsy and Yashin was(and still is IMO)a good player. The contract was just brutal. The excitement when we got Peca, Yashin, plucked Osgood off waivers was the best since 93'. When they went on to win I think the first 12 out of 13 I was pumped. It was a good year. If we just won that game 7 with Toronto things could've been different. Maybe for the worse? Milbury may still be our GM - Cptmjl
Fully agree.. dont think MM woyuld still be our GM.. but I agree with everything else.

"Marty St. Louis is not going to be traded," Steve Yzerman told ESPN.com on Friday. "He remains one of the best players in the league and an extremely important player to our team, both on and off the ice. We are a team in transition, we just made a coaching change, Marty is one of the leaders of the team, he is not going anywhere."
OK, lets put this one to bed. |

Exactly.. the second you let it be known that you are looking to move someone.. their value decreases and it can create animosity with the player if they dont end up moved
