Now that would be horrible. I still remember staying up till after 2am to watch Primeau finally score against Tugnett and the Pens. That was such a surreal game. - ravishingone
That's the stuff of legends. On the flip side of the coin, can you imagine a playoffs series being decided by a shootout? A Stanley Cup going to the skills competition? |

The longer those OT games go, the better.
On a side note, if hell ever freezes over and I decide to go to a playoff game in Philly, how much is an "okay" ticket. |

I hope it doesn't happen in my lifetime. However, I think the first step would be going four on four to start the OT periods. Unfortunately, I do see that scenerio happening in the next ten years.
It's all about TV money. |

It can really depend. Back in 2011, I got a ticket to one of the games in the Buffalo series for $60 or so, second row in the Mezzanine. Open view, good angle. That said, prices can get pretty outrageous. |

Yeah... you lucked out with that. You're lucky to get that seat for under 70 for a regular season game.
Be prepared to drop some cash for decent seats at playoff games. |

Thats not too bad.
The one game I went to in Winnipeg (Jets vs Flyers), I sat basically in the middle section, middle of the ice. 120$ each. I said I'd never go to another game again because of the greed/lockouts but the fiance keeps bringing up the idea. |

Well, then I guess you wouldn't be thrilled that I believe they may go four on four for maybe one or two OT periods and then for "fan interest" go to three on three pond hockey.
Three on three is less likely, but I definitely see four on four to try and drum up ratings for the non-traditional hockey fan. It sucks, I know.

Not to harsh your buzz, but there's no need for consensus, either. It's an internet forum, there's no winners, only losers.

There is an ignore user feature, but it's manual transmission. A number of us have to use it on the incessant female doging about MJL. - BulliesPhan87
I've been on both sides of this. There are times we get along and other times his schtick rankles me. That's when I go to Twitter - only to realize there are thousands of worse opinions and ways to express it "over there" than there are "here."
That's when I hide out in the underground. |

I just wish we could keep the internet rivalries entertaining, at the very least. Not to say I'm not guilty of ranting.
As for the terrible opinions of Twitter, well, they're fun to retweet anyways. |
