This man is a genius!

Two high-risk, low percentage plays by our captain in the final two minutes. One in the offensive zone that leads to a Boston breakout, and one in the d-zone that leads to a near-scoring chance. Looks like they'll dodge that bullet now that Feds has finally found a scoring chance he can finish, but those are the plays that make it tough to hold a lead. And as the captain he has to be smarter than that in those situations.

not female doging - certainly glad they won. just pointing out one of the reasons wins like this are so rare this season. can't keep making plays like that and expect to hold leads, or win many games.

ditto. he's a perfect bottom 6 kind of guy.

getting rid of him will just make us start looking for another player who brings to the table what he does.

I refuse to buy into the "lose for top 3 pick", I don't think that is beneficial in any way for this young team. Regardless of the top 3 pick, which would be nice, I think you benefit more going on a nice little streak and start playing well and ending up with a 7th-9th pick.

Solid game. I'd like to see more of Lauridsen. F'n Rinaldo is a machine. Resign him now.

And how about Crosby...he might be done for the season with that puck to the mouth.
